2-3yr.olds+3-4yr.olds
In these imaginative classes, we combine simple yoga poses with songs, games, stories and puppets to encourage social development as well as motor skills. Children will learn about their growing bodies and begin breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.
5-7yr.olds
Our 5, 6 and 7 year olds are full of energy! We channel this natural energy and enthusiasm through cooperative games, art activities, music and more. Yoga poses, breathing exercises, guided imagery and relaxation techniques are all explored during these classes. Children begin to develop flexibility, strength and coordination.
8-10yr.olds
Children will learn how to focus and center themselves through a variety of visualization and breathing exercises. They will begin flowing sequences, balancing poses and partner poses which encourage positive peer interaction. They will also develop a better sense of how their bodies work through cooperative yoga games and basic anatomy.
11-13 yr. olds
These classes will incorporate yoga postures, flowing sequences and breathing exercises with deep relaxation techniques. As the poses become more physically challenging, we will focus on balance and control while developing strength and self-confidence.
Teens (60 min)
As a transition between child and adult yoga, our teen classes focus on a deeper sense of body awareness and help to build inner as well as outer strength. Participants will enjoy both individual and group activities while gaining a better understanding of the physical and philosophical ideologies of yoga. The practice includes traditional yoga poses, breathing exercises, deep relaxation and meditation techniques.

Family Yoga is offered for the following age groups (see class descriptions for details):
3-4yr.olds, 5-7yr.olds, 8+yr.olds

Children and parents come together for laughter and fun in our family yoga classes! Partner with your child in simple animated poses, cooperative games, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. These classes are also open to extended family members as well as caregivers- What a wonderful way to interact and bond with your child!

Our pre-natal classes offer soon-to-be mommies a safe and nurturing way to practice yoga throughout their pregnancies. We include standing poses that help build body awareness and balance, seated poses that open up the hips and strengthen the lower back and breath awareness. Participants leave rejuvenated and better prepared for labor.

Post-natal classes are designed to help new mommies get back into shape while bonding with their babies. Moms learn poses that rebuild abdominal and pelvic floor muscles while developing strength and flexibility. Babies enjoy assisted stretching, songs and gentle massage. This class is for mommies and babies six weeks to beginning crawlers.
